Privacy policy

1. The short version

Balavo is built so that your biodata and card details stay on your own device. We do not need an account, we do not sell data and we do not use advertising trackers.

2. What stays on your device

• Details you type (names, dates, family details, messages) and your draft are saved in your browser’s local storage so you can come back later.
• Photos you add are resized and processed inside your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.
• Downloads (PNG and PDF) are created in your browser.

Clearing your browser data deletes your draft. Other people using the same browser may see it, so use a private window on a shared device.

3. What we may collect

• Orders (when payments go live): order ID, design, amount, date and the mobile number or email you give for the receipt.
• Payments: handled by the payment gateway under its own privacy policy. We receive only a payment status and reference, never card, UPI or bank details.
• Reviews: the name, city, text and optional photo you submit, shown publicly only after moderation. In the current prototype, reviews are stored only in your own browser.
• Server logs: standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security for up to 90 days.

4. How we use it

Only to provide the service: to deliver your purchase, send a receipt, answer support requests, prevent fraud and meet legal and tax requirements. We do not sell or rent personal data.

5. Cookies

Balavo does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s local and session storage for drafts, your design choices and the demo order list.

6. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and withdraw consent. Write to hello@3iplanet.com.

7. Children

Balavo is meant for adults. Birthday cards for children are made by their parents or family members.

8. Changes

We will update this policy before live payments and accounts are introduced. The date at the top shows the latest version.
